5 stars isn't enough as far as I am concerned. Mechanics are usually a necessary evil that I used to despise until I took my car to Motorpool, not only was the staff warm and inviting, but they were (brace yourself) HONEST. The waiting room has a television that not only works but is equipped with cable and a video game console with a comfortable couch to watch it from and a HUGE selection of complimentary snacks and drinks too so hanging out while they work is not only painless but fun. But besides being honest, friendly and having a great place to wait, they are also fast, reliable, thorough, and dependable and they have literally gone out of their way to make each of my experiences with them awesome.

I bought my daughters car in for a steering leak. He told us it's not worth fixing as there was so much other things wrong with it instead of nickel & dimeing us

These guys are awesome! Very knowledgeable and up front. Costs for regular service (e.g. oil changes, brakes, etc.)are reasonable. If they find something beyond what you've taken your vehicle in for, they always call to explain what it is and get authorization before going forward. Everyone I've interacted with here has been friendly and helpful. Also, an added bonus is the shop has a cool vibe - not a bad place to sit and hang out while you wait!

I drive 80+ miles a day, and I only trust Motorpool for my maintanience and repairs. Every single person I have interacted with at Motorpool has done a fantastic job at explaining to me the issues that have brought me in, and what we need to change and fix. I live close by and they always offer me a ride or bike to take home while I get my car serviced. I highly recommend Motorpool! I am happy to sport the sticker on my car, and not just because it gives me discounts when I go in. Good job Steve and crew!!

These guys have amazing service! While traveling I ran into some electrical problems and came across this shop. They recommended a very reasonably priced towing service to get me there safely. Friendly guys with lots of personality and they were even watching DC animated movies. They ensured my car was able to run and sent me on the way for an extremely great price. Highly recommended them!

We originally had an issue with a scheduled appt but Steve reached out and helped resolve everything quickly. Looking forward to having a great shop to take my car in nearby.

Reasonable price, best service. I had two major works done there. One involved with break issues and four wheel alignment and one with an issue of minor banging sound in the back seat whenever I release the gas peddle near the end (a hard problem to find root cause). They fixed both issues really well. The alignment was done well that I waited 8 month to ensure the steeling wheel remains to no shaking in high speed and tires wear evenly. They even offered to have a nice technician to pick me up when the work was done. They opened on Saturday, very convenient.

We drove down from Washington State to visit Bay Area friends and realized our car needed an oil change. From word of mouth we decided we needed to go to Motorpool to avoid any scams for out-of-towners. Not only do they have an amazing waiting room (with phone chargers for a variety of different phones) but the service was awesome and quick. We will definitely recommend Motorpool Automotive in the future! Thank you!

Yet again, stellar service from Motorpool. I needed to get some small repairs done in addition to an oil change. The price, as always, was better than I could get at a dealer or most other shops in the valley and Motorpool had everything done in a day. The owner and manager have always been polite and helpful. The shop guys I've interacted with know their business. Frankly, it's comforting to come in here and get such good treatment. I've recommended Motorpool to two people in the last month and know, for a fact, one of those people went to Motorpool for work needed to pass a smog test. They were quoted over a $1,000 by the smog place's repair person. Motorpool did the work for a third of the price. I also have to say I don't experience the 'oh you're a girl so I'll jack up the price' problem a previous review mentioned. These guys don't have 'girl prices' and 'guy prices'. They have 'repair prices' regardless of gender. Couldn't ask for a better, more honest repair shop.

I don't always write reviews... but when I do its because the place is just so amazing that I have to tell other people about it. I took my Fiat 500e there to get my tires rotated. Low and behold they found out that you can't rotate the tires because of the special rims the 500e has for regenerative braking. They were super nice, did all the research on the car and although I couldn't get my tires rotated (thanks Fiat) I was sent on my way happy. I will be taking my other vehicles here in the future. These guys are the best!
