Terrible experience. Motorpool came under new management about a year or so ago. It's a different place now. I went back to them 3 times for a simple oil leak, and they charged me more than $1800 and the problem still wasn't fixed. In fact, my car leaked oil more than ever. Then they told me that they that it will be $2,000+ more in labor to fix it. I finally decided to give up on them and went to another mechanic instead. I spent $350 and problem fixed completely!! There was also a coolant leak somewhere that I had paid Motorpool to fix and that worked only for a few months. That particular problem was also remedied completely by another mechanic. Although I had one-year warranty with Motorpool on the work, I didn't want to deal with them any longer. Motorpool talks a good game, but the quality of their work doesn't back it up in the least. My suggestion is --- look around and do your due diligence!! Response to Motorpool response: It's been 5 months now, and there's still no oil leak, no coolant leak, and the car is working perfectly. All of these thing Motorpool did NOT or could NOT fix even though I paid them good money and multiple visits. Like I said, Motorpool talks a good game. When you have a serious issue with your car, or multiple issues, go somewhere else!!!
Good luck with that next shop.. When the truth doesn't offend you as much please come back. Sometimes a coat of spackle and paint will only fix the problem for a little while, but when it comes back, we will be here for you. Good luck, John.
