This review comes backed with the fact that I was in the auto trade for over 7 years. A dealership, in fact. It was common thought that independent shops would gouge prices and do sub par work. As a business owner myself now, I prefer to support those independent/small business owners. This is a highly professional shop!! You know it the moment you walk in. Super clean and welcoming office and waiting area. The guys behind the counter talked to me in a guy to guy fashion that I appreciated. It wasn't all sell sell sell. I dropped off my Explorer and went about my business. The work was done before the date they promised. They had found and fixed the issue I had brought it in for with no problems. Next they merely informed me of what else required service, absolutely no pressure or selling tactics! Naturally, I returned for them to do more work. I also started bringing in my wife's car as well. Super glad that I found this shop and now proudly flaunt that "Motorpool" sticker on both our vehicles.

Motorpool automotive is and will be the home for all of my vehicles mechanical issues. The quality of service and quality of service is outstanding! My vehicle is there now and was given a loner car! I have been bringing my ridiculously high mileage truck to Motorpool for quite a while now. I drive a couple of hours for my regular check ups. Fortunately the guys understand how far I travel and always manage to track down the parts and get the work done within a day so I can drive home safely at closing time. Steven and the guys have a goal of helping me get my truck to 300,000 miles. We are at 278,000 now. No major repairs since I started bringing it in to Motorpool. I never leave feeling that I have been upsold and repairs had been done that were not necessary. Steven gets my budget and knows that we will never make it to 300,000 if I have to start paying for huge repairs. I bring my work with me but often end up enjoying a movie while I wait. The wait area is comfortable and clean with great amenities to help you pass the time .

I brought my car in to Motorpool because the check engine light went on yesterday and my normal mechanic was unavailable for a few days. When I arrived at Motorpool one of the owners, Steve, and an employee named Ian were working the front desk. Both of them seemed like nice guys and were really courteous. They pulled the OBDII codes from the car and said they'd need a few hours to investigate the engine issue. A few hours later I got a call back with the suggested remedy and a price quote of $870 to replace 6 ignition coils and spark plugs. I was initially disappointed in the price they quoted to do the repair work in addition to a $120 diagnostic charge ($990 total). Motorpool's response was to go above and beyond to make me happy with the price and work performed They properly completed the repair and made sure I was satisfied so 5 Stars.

Had a huge bolt in my tire. Saw the many good reviews here and decided to come here. Gabe helped me fix my tire and helped me made sure all the tires had equal air. Also he did this all with my two kids in the car. He made it so easy and then didn't charge me. Wow. He did say that my tire treads were getting low so of course I would consider bringing my car here to get new tires. Great up sell. I gave him a nice tip!

Solid service from these guys. I've been here several times and the gentlemen behind the counters are all about the customers. They let you know what you should get done this time and take note of what you'll probably need to get checked the next time you come in. If you don't understand anything, they take the time to explain it to you and walk you through it. Friendly guys doing honest work. Inside the office you can chill in the waiting area where there are free drinks and snacks available as well as a television to help the waiting process go by quicker. If you don't mind the company sticker on your car, definitely take advantage of the discounts that come with it.

I've been coming here for about a year now. Great group of guys who do honest work. I recommend them to anyone I hear that has car problems/in need of a mechanic.
